He had been readmitted for acidemia and diarrhea.

His foster parents described similar moist, erythematous plaques on his sister.

The lesions favored the upper medial thighs and perianal areas.

His eruption had a prediliction for intertriginous areas and flexural folds. I should add that neither child had responded to p. o. antibiotic or topical anti-fungal therapy.
